Had a nice run this morning :D Although kana fly kite by my friend again but still manage to enjoy the run. Seems like different run gives a different feel maybe due to the theme and awareness it wants to bring across.
For Run350, it is an international event to bring awareness to increase in atmospheric CO2 in relation to carbon emission that believe to threaten the survival of life on earth. Read this link to know more about the event;

Do also toggle to the "gallery" page to find some nice video and information. Let's stop abusing and exploiting mother nature.
I have managed to grab some nice photos posted by the organising committee's facebook;

As early as 6am, I made my way to The Promontory@Marina Bay. The train was almost colored in sea of orange ( color of the running tee). The location was rather easy to find as unlike the other runs, this run has smaller crowd. The logistic arrangements were smooth and it doesn't take me long to get myself at the starting line.
It's also the first run that segregated the guys and the ladies. Good as the run is less packed but bad as in about half the journey, my ego was deeply affected by ladies and overtook me . . . . . . Maybe due to my days of mugging for my exam, headache sets in and that really make the run less enjoying.
My pace were about the same as my attempt at Standchart Run last year which took about 70+ mins. As usual, I will try to grab some good runner and match my pace with him/her. But it only work when my determination was still strong. At the ending part of the race, I kept losing my pacers :(
Anyway its still a nice run. How I wish I could find some running partners. Would be even better if I have a running team. A wish that arises in my mind since last year's run. The synergy should be great!!
Just a little reflection after the run. We should fill our life and days with energy and vibes. At the ending phase of Buddha's life, he still walks on foot from village to village over hundreds of miles across India to teach.
