Run for Hope 2010

Day start early refreshingly for the race event "Run for Hope". It is a 6 and 10K run focus on benefiting Cancer patients, care and research.
Opt for 6K as was suppose to run with 2 friends but was not available on that day......haiz But oh well I still manage to enjoy the run!!
The route is along the beach of East Coast. Tried to run fast to prevent my face from facing the raising sun. Running under basking sunlight is nice too!! Feels very fresh and healthy. Tried to run with consistent speed but have to walk for a few part of the journey! Age is really catching up.
What I like about this run is its emphasis on charitable cause. The running tee is fully printed with sponsors! The race is also rather motivational as you can see disabled people participating the race. The demographics of the run participants come from all age range and a good mix of sexes. The main bulk are young energetic teens.
And look what I found after the run!! Sand castles!!!
