Life after exam!!

Back to blogging! Free man finally ...at least till the verdict is out on Sept....but I am more confidence the result should not give me another heart attack.

So nice! After my exam on thur, Grace organised a KTV outing!! Singing is still my best way to let out steam! I know I was screaming horribly but who cares! hahaha!! If I am good I would not be studying and working now :(

Here comes Saturday where I woke up naturally! No need alarms to wait me up for work or study! Then went for a relaxing swim. Decided to choose the early noon to go to avoid seeing my student again (So embrassing)! Its just so nice to do some tanning and tunning to nice bossanova + do some fav reading as well! Maybe can consider moving into a condo with a pool next time :P but......I will need to sacrifice the neighbourhood feel of HDB.

Meet up with the P.Park gangs finally on evening...... Mike sir say i became more skinny! Miko shared his brazillian wax feel! Ouch!! Just don't understand wats wrong with being hairy!! The Durian Puree!! So nice...!! It taste so rich!! But hor the taste does not linger in the mouth very long. Don't noe why. The taste was great! Wah time really flies and our gang know each other for some time liao! Met Miko since K1, Shuli since sec skool, Dengli since army time and Mike sir for at least 2 to 3 yrs at least! We must meet up frequently!!

Life of a city man was really growing very monotonous and boring for me.....study and work plus some volunteering.....to add more spice in life also no time. To think about the journey ahead.....if nothing changes, maybe I will die of boredom real soon.

Spirit of Zhi Char lady we can all learn :P

Just when working = bad and moody days, maybe we can draw inspiration from other walks of life :) From there maybe we can re-assess what is a sucky job.

While I was waiting for my orders a "zhi Char lady" caught my eyes. Just a span of maybe 5 to 10 mins, this lady did

1) Recommendation of food to the diners.
2) Taking take-away orders.
3) Delivering the prepared food
4) Organising the orders
5) Pacifying the waiting take-aways.

and . . .

got a scolding by one of the customer till she broke into tears....
walk away for a min, back with red eyes and repeat the above tasks again.

Can clearly sees that she was "postponing" her frustration in order to keep up her service in one of the most busiest day (mothers' day).

Maybe we can just say she is in the service sector, no choice.....but when we experience complaints from our superior or colleagues, can we continue to function in such manners.

Reflecting on our SG service sector, does our reatailer have such values? Anyway that gal seems to be a "PRC". Next time we label a person PRC maybe see what we can learn than where they are from :)
