Mission accomplished and well done :)

I felt so joyous and ever so greatful today :) My mum's condition got better!

Few weeks ago and yes jus a few weeks ago my mum was diagnoised with a growth in her head after several scans due to her frequent headache complains to her usual doctor. And indeed the growth was located jus below her skull cap pressing against the brain mass. Advice was then given from the brain specialist to remove it to minus any possible worsening of the condition fast.

Yesterday she underwent a 4hr long operation which started even earlier than we had expected. We almost freak out when we received her call that she was about to be pushed away to the operation theatre. All thanks to the nurses, we managed to send her off :)

The wait was crazily agonising. Was really lucky that we had the whole family around to chat and wild the time away. Seeing her being pushed out, we practically sprint towards her and followed her to the ICU.

She was all wired up and looks terribly tired. All of us was in tears looking at her in such state. But strange enough, she was much better and able to recognise us when we do our last visit before heading home.

Miracle happens when my bro called the ward this morning and was told my mum can already seat up and consume porridge. Previously the doctor was saying she should be able to move into ICA while the nurse thought that she might still need to stay on in ICU for 2days! But she can in fact move to the normal ward already by today!

Just back from visiting and she was recovering even much faster than expected. She can laugh and perform much more bodily effort already but still have to stay in ICU for the night due to inavailability of normal ward! Good in a way when you know she is in better hands and environment was clean. Bad as in visiting her is much more restricted and she is definitely feeling bored with no "neighbours" to make friend. I think the amount of friends and relative visited her today might have topped the chart as the most amount of visitor!

Looking forward to tomorrow's visit :) and hereby would like to thank all friend that has help me prayed for her success in operation. I believe her speed of recovery is slightly off the scientific logics and I believe its not possible without those sincerest prayers!
