Me a guru??

Haha~!! I would say they are just generic question where any one should know if they bothers to plan where they are heading in life.

With a well thought plan, it is still hard to have an great wealth empire but you can still walk the park without having to sleep in the park!

But in Singapore with so much initiatives by government, is there a need to fear? Of course we are more comfortable on average but personal wealth is best managed personally since everyone's idea of comfortable retirement is so different.

Paying a visit to your most trusted adviser should be treated just like going for a GP annually for checkup. But having said so, day to day planning still falls back to the effort of individuals. And to do that, we have to constantly update ourselves with the necessary facts.

To me I do not fear meeting up with dodgy advisers because I always hold all financial decision to my own accountability. Advisers can only be an adviser and I would not chew on any meat served without knowing what meat is that. Rather, I have a habit of meeting up with agents as they could update me with market and product updates more readily than surfing websites due to my audio inclinations.
