Sighing yet puzzled by thoughts of thy individual and to the diminishing cultural values......ideas and values that guides the very vulnerablity of self respect.
Getting on and off the train as usual with packs of people yesterday night. A young couple caught the corners of my eye. The guy (looking very boyish, definitely not even 15) carassing his "girlfriend's" buttock in front of all commuters. And very obviously the girl doesn't care.
Read the papers and there was another that wear bikinis on LRT at SengKang. Now what has the world gone into. What about the traditional values of our females.
Many would say its alright, this is the new world, result from westernization. But I do not see westerners doing so. If there is, I only see them near the beaches. Even the European are refraining from kissing on the streets nowadays.
Westernization, is it a good policy to undertake, I guess not. Its diluting some of our important oriental values that identify us as asians. It is the very same values i feel makes us on par with the westerners.
Then how about self respect?? There is nothing wrong but indeed alot to say with girls that does not treasure themselves and do not mind being the mens tool for "letting go". How about the little boy?? To me, its the disresepect to her partner, not sparing a thought for her and to the rest of the world suffering with the inability to control our eyes at that moment.
Then how about gals in their 20s, 30s and 40s?? ok with intimate maneuvers? I suppose its all the same. Just that they are mature to know and choose to do so . . . . . .
