Vesak is about celebrating the coming of a boy that shed the light of truth to this world. Although as years passed, this day of tranquility and peace has been decorated with more basking activities and ritual, the heart to spread the teaching never dies. Its about using methods for deliverance on different people from different walks of life.This year, I could see there is more crowd but is that a reflection of the growing followers or a snap shot of suffe

ring in today's world.
Temple compound has created a good stage for wannabes to hone their skills and performance. And through the spirit of giving we carry back with more faith yet more experience that will help us in our lifes. After all, Buddhism is about us and Vesak is about us too.

People often wonders why do we busy ourselves so much with these events, but why not asking them why busy ourselves over activities by meeting people that don't need us, doing things that only satisfy the fleeting moments. We all have 24hrs, but its on how to use it that determines the future . . .

The ending of Vesak ends the day but not Vesak. Spirit of Vesak should be in our mind everyday, every action and ever
